On 1 August 2024, we made some changes to Tugboat plans and pricing. We increased our prices and also increased storage quotas on all of our tiers by at least 50%.
What’s more, our Free tier, which previously only allowed 2GB of storage now has 5GB of storage. For any folks who were on our legacy Nano tier, which had 5GB of storage, we automatically switched you to the Free tier. 👏
With the new storage, this change reduced your cost per GB by as much as 20%.
The new storage quotas and prices went into effect on 1 August 2024. The additional storage is already available. If you’re on a monthly plan, you’ll see the price change on your August bill. If you’re on an annual plan, the new price will become active at your next renewal date.
